Mackenzie is wondering where the tiny voice and giggles are coming from? There is no one in her neon pink room. A loud ticking noise is coming from Grandad Eddie's watch. She hasn't heard the ticking of that watch since he left it to her. As she moves closer to the watch... the ticking gets louder. She slowly picks up the watch and looks into the face. A small figure waves at her and Mackenzie slowly waves back. Then POOF!! Mackenzie is inside the watch. Princess Peree Sheree extends her hand and welcomes her to Pleasantree....

Mackenzie's family life is seen thru her happy times with her parents, siblings and neighborhood friends. The book is engaging and is a fantasy worth reading, it keeps you interested at every turn. Although Mackenzie seemed to abjure what she was hearing from the wee little voices her curiosity soon led her to explore a whole new world!
