Beskrivelse
Lovely Disaster is a heartfelt, raw, and honest admission of the beautiful lessons found in the mess of life. Erin explores her own cautionary tale of memories, stories, experiences, and full-circle moments with unfiltered candor. Moreover, she recounts living through trauma, abuse, addiction, and loss, while discovering the gifts they can all afford you, if you are open and willing to veer away from the "normal." Erin's story is an invitation to take the unexpected path and to trust that you will be granted rewards along the way that you didn't know were possible.
Erin Hunt uses her fifteen-plus years in social work, corrections, and treatment, as well as her thirty-three year relationship, marriage, parenting experiences, and hard-earned life lessons to help uncover what is possible for others. Through her examination of the complexities of her past, her mission is one of empathetic acceptance and grace, opening the possibility for new outcomes through unpopular decisions. There is a great amount of healing available, when we listen to our inner knowing instead of what the world expects of us.
Erin Hunt was born in Dickinson, North Dakota but raised primarily in the beautiful state of Colorado, where she still lives and works. She considers her family, friends, and health to be most important thing to her. After over fifteen years working in law, corrections, treatment, and social work, and after her thirty-three-year relationship and eventual marriage, Erin has decided to share her story and memories. When she isn't spending time with her friends and family, you can almost always find her surrounded by her French bulldogs, Chanel and Jules. Lovely Disaster is Erin's first book.
