Beskrivelse
In her mid-twenties and of Pictish descent, Rhanna is stunningly enchanting. She lives the life of fauns and fairies, of myths and legends with her concerts, compositions and her harp. But, what really drives her, is her hunt for healing, sexual healing. She struggles with the meaning of life, with desperate aloneness and with the knowledge that her own body and soul hold secrets. During her quest to bring these secrets to light, she doesn't hesitate to take risks, huge risks. Emotional risks. Life-threatening risks. Relationship risks. Sexual risks. This novel is the third of a trilogy. The other two are called: LOVE OR LUST I (according to Charlotte) LOVE OR LUST II (according to Fergus) Their styles differ considerably, because each novel is written in the first person from the perspective of the character mentioned in the title. This creates variation for the reader and puts the main characters in three totally different frames of reference.. A fascinating concept. What all three have in common is a Dutch frankness and openness in their style of writing, which makes personalities very palpable and recognisable. Readers easily follow how the characters' psychological and mental musings shape physical actions and longings, especially sexual longings. The books may well become bedside companions for women whose dreams and desires are as yet unfulfilled and for men who are still searching for the relationship of their fantasies.
