Brennan Cole is an out of work actor who has no care for love or commitment and would much rather enjoy a life of freedom and fun. Neddie Waters is a successful businesswoman who has just found out that she has a year left to live and has no interest in falling in love when she knows it cannot last. Neddie and Brennan have nothing in common but when Ned's mother begs her to at least attempt to use her last year to experience falling in love, she struggles to say no and instead does the one thing she is good at; hires somebody to play the part of her boyfriend. Stuck with an eviction notice on his door Brennan is desperate enough to take the part and Neddie is desperate enough to hire him no matter how many of her rules he insists on breaking. Brennan and Neddie have met their match in this back-and-forth romantic comedy filled with witty banter, romantic tension, awkward moments and plenty of swoon. Get ready to fall in love, have your heart broken but do a lot of laughing along the way.
