Beskrivelse
Ms. Audrey Hate is a hateful cranky old woman, and Susan is a sweet mistreated little orphan girl. Life has been hard for both of them, but will they let Jesus into their lives, or will they become hard and bitter?
Susan, a lonely ten-year-old orphan girl, lived in a large drafty orphanage which had seen its better days many decades ago. No updates or enhancements had been done to this building for years due to lack of funding. Her bedroom walls were an awful dingy green color and the ceiling looked to be gray with large water marks showing past leaks. In fact, even now there is a bucket next to her bed to catch water when it rains. She often dreamed of becoming a part of a loving family. Unfortunately for Susan, Ms. Hate, who chose Susan as her foster child, has no intention of ever loving Susan.
When they arrived at Ms. Hate's home, Susan was appalled at its appearance. It reminded her of a haunted house she once saw in a horror movie. The inside of the house wasn't any better, if anything it was worse. But she could have stood this if Ms. Hate didn't...
This book covers a wide variety of topics and problems young people face such as greed, hate, vengeance, salvation... and even death.
