Lost Without Love

After fifteen years of writing detective stories, Adam Crane's publisher has requested he change his book's focus to include love interests because the public is clambering for it. His agent meets to tell him that if he can't change his style he may be out of work. Adam retreats to his new vacation home on Lake Cuomo to begin his new book, the one with a love interest for the main character. There's only one small problem; Adam has never been in love. His bachelor life has been a long series of one-night stands with college coeds that come to hear him speak about writing. He struggles with his new directive but settles in to begin, only to be harassed by his surly neighbor, a female movie producer. The constant skirmishes with his new neighbor is not helping his writing. The skirmishes end when Adam is attacked.
