Crushed by the death of his father, followed by the failure of his marriage, deputy Michael Williams, hoping to find himself again, decides to pack his belongings and move to a picturesque town nestled in the rugged mountains of northern Idaho. Michael soon finds himself trying to catch a sadistic killer, searching for clues in a place he never imagined he'd go.
