Loss Thoughts is a guide for navigating the mental health journey associated with massive weight loss (either through surgery or medications) and provided through a point of view from someone who has lost over 300 pounds. While most guides provide information on what to eat and how to exercise, this totally comes from a different perspective that is not talked about enough. Everyone knows "calories in, calories out", but the mental blocks that happen are not talked about enough. Topics include body image, receiving attention, opinions on taking the "easy way out", maintaining, receiving support, and finding ways to cope with all the new feelings you will go through.
