Long Shadows

After personal tragedy, Calab Riman retires as a homicide detective in New York City and travels with his wife, Faye, back to his birthplace - a small town in North Carolina - where he plans to take life easy and look after his ageing father. While there, he is asked to look into a murder that took place almost fifty years earlier, when he was just a boy and his father was Sheriff of the township. It's then he witnesses what he knew during his long career: murder affects more than the Victim or Villain, especially when injustice might be involved. It seems some crimes can never be forgotten; some sins never forgiven.
