Long Island Breezes

"Long Island Breezes" tells a Jules Verne like tale of Long Island's passing from sight. Thousands die. Will the island ever return? If not, will the islanders be lost forever? Where will they drift to? Each of the island's counties and boroughs is led by a politician, whose loyalties and hidden agendas are as diverse as Barack Obama's and John McCain's. Will Long Islanders be able to survive these politicians and find a new port of call as Twain's Huck Finn and his raft did, or will they end their days in the murky depths below?
