Lomax at War

It's the Second World War and not only has the British Army got to contend with the German offensive, there is undetected criminal activity in the ranks. That is until the hardnosed, no nonsense detective George Lomax from Leeds is conscripted.

He is experienced and has a first class reputation as an investigator. He gets results. When first line investigators hit a brick wall, they 'send for Lomax'. Cold shouldered by his superiors and underlings, he eventually suffers the indignity of being outcast by supervisors.

Conscripted into the army, he is transferred to the middle east, where, unsurprisingly, he finds himself in a position as an investigator...

This is a well-researched and entertaining debut novel from Dan Boylan.
