The role of the Holy Spirit is fundamental in our spiritual growth and the development of the fruit of the spirit within us. Through the gifts of the spirit we can learn to love more deeply, find joy amidst sorrow, experience peace in the midst of chaos, and practice patience kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live out these virtues, even when it is difficult or counter cultural.
