Beskrivelse
Liverpool is much more than just the home of The Beatles or of two great football teams. Once the most important city in the UK, it suffered what might have seemed like irreparable damage as sea-bound trade with the rest of the world dwindled during the latter half of the 20th century but, as the rest of Britain has struggled with austerity measures since the turn of the century, so this great city has found itself reversing national trends, with a significant growth in business and tourism alike. Massive regeneration projects and spectacular public theatre and arts events have seen Liverpool make the front pages of newspapers across the globe and bring visitors into the city in their thousands. Award winning photographer James Howard has captured many of the changes and experiences that have made Liverpool such a vibrant place to be over the past decade and a half - years when the face of the city may have changed but its heart beats stronger than ever.
