Little Fecker!

Growing up in Ireland, one of ten kids with Daddy off in England, Ned has to live by his wits. And his fists. He goes to school, occasionally, but education doesn't put food on the table. Daddy's cheques stop coming, and the family has to eat. Ned steals a potato here, a loaf there. Oh, and a tree. A big tree. He leaves school at 12, works in the fields - honest graft. But Mammy dies; Ned goes to England. More graft, more wits. More fists. Eventually he builds a successful business. Suddenly Ned is Chairman of a football club. New challenge, fantastic time. He trains with Barry McGuigan, entertains George Best and Muhammad Ali. Far from scraping for crusts of bread, Ned is someone. For now.
