This book consists of five parts: ci in Tang Dynasty, ci in Wu and Yue, ci in Shu, ci in the Southern Tang Dynasty and ci in Dunhuang. It covers popular works of well known poets in five eras in Tang Dynasty. The book introduced ancient ci and poets' style through selected works and plain words and left a positive guidance to readers in ci in Tang Dynasty.
