Time binds everything within our world, from living beings to inanimate objects, even to feelings and memories. Liminal Space, a collection of 40 poems written by Jennifer Engel, reflects this truth. In the first section, Ms. Engel touches on the past, highlighting the human experiences of her ancestors. The second section focuses on more recent events in the author's life having to do with love, motherhood and family. The last section of Liminal Space vividly illustrates the cyclical nature of time as experienced through the seasons and our place in the universe.
