"Lilly and Her Slave" is a collection of previously unpublished short stories by the german author Hans Fallada.
Hans Fallada turned himself to the police in September 1925. At that time he wasn’t a famous author and he was highly addicted to alcohol and morphine, which he funded by embezzling. To save himself from his inner demons he sought peace at the prison. Court documents from Fallada's imprisonment has recently been found as well as a series of short stories we never have seen before. Now they are all collected in "Lilly and Her Slave" that shows new sides of his complex and odd describtion of the outsiders.
