Beskrivelse
Tourism is part of contemporary social life, being vital for the development of countries and their territories, especially in destinations that have great natural, cultural, gastronomic and physical (infrastructure) wealth. Ligüiqui is a fishing cove located on the Ecuadorian coast, in the city of Manta, province of Manabí, surrounded by a greenish landscape, rich in archaeological remains, marine flora and fauna, with a virginal turquoise blue beach, surrounded by cliffs and beautiful mountains, with dry and humid forests. Its heritage comes not only from its ancestral tourist assets, which date back to the Manteña culture (500 to 1500 A.D.), but also from the simplicity and human quality of its inhabitants, being a very popular site for national and foreign tourists. The objective of this research was "to determine how Ligüiqui's tourist attractions affect the tourist development of the canton of Manta". The theoretical and conceptual framework is described, on which the doctrinal, scientific and technical terms that illustrate the development of this work are based, and the variables studied are also analyzed.
