Lighthouses of New Jersey

A photographic look at every remaining lighthouse in New Jersey. The romance, desolation, hard-work, and technology that lighthouses are known for are depicted in this photo essay. Michelangelo DeSantis is a native of Brooklyn, New York but has lived for more than 30 years in Manalapan, New Jersey. He combines his love for history with the twin passions of travel and photography. This is his second book. His first, The Jersey Shore, is a photographic essay through all of the towns along the New Jersey shore.His photographic work has been shown at the Monmouth County Library and he has won multiple awards for photos in various on-line communities.
