Library business of Dagestan (1920-1960)

The historical experience of librarianship, accumulated in the years of formation and strengthening of the Soviet power, is of theoretical and practical interest for further increasing the level of public role of libraries, improving the system of library services to the multinational population of the modern Republic of Dagestan. From the theoretical point of view, the process of forming the principal typological structure of libraries, library networks of various departments and public organizations attracts attention.
