When you board an elevator you do so as an act of faith. You have faith that when the doors open you'll be where you expected to be. For Jake that isn't always so. When fourteen-year-old Jake and his dad board the local mall's antique elevator with a group of strangers, the shoppers exit at a floor where things are subtly different. They team up with some of their fellow travelers and realize they have they have powers to tap into to help them escape and get back again.The tension is high and the unseen forces at play make this an exciting read in the spirit of the Hunger Games and Maze Runner. Fans of Terry Pratchett will thoroughly enjoy this fantastic adventure.
