The two epistles to the Thessalonians contain much of the basic, biblical teaching on the End Times. For this reason, they have often been controversial. Yet the material they contain is essential for anyone who wants to get to grips with this subject, as well as providing an insight into the establishment of a church, which the apostle Paul commends as behaving exactly as a church should. Paul Taylor argues that a literal reading of these epistles leads one to a Historic (Posttribulation) Premillennial understanding of the End Times.
