Letters to Jim

These letters were written during the first year I was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Pacific University. They detail my early views on art and life as I struggled to find a place for myself in a world of ideas and contexts. They were where I began. To fit or not to fit? How much integrity to let go? How can a writer find a way of exist and flourish in a seemingly alien world? The letters weave together the fields of Psychology, Philosophy, and Art in a search for a workable identity.
