Letters to an Artist

These letters began in my writing journal as a way to remind myself of what I have learned and relearned over years of walking with Christ. Time and time again, I have peered into His face for answers to so many areas of struggle in my creative life. When I look to my art to provide help and answers, I tend to wander off track. Being an artist then begins to bear down on me. Yet when my eyes are fixed on Christ and His love for me, the creativity He has given me blossoms and grows with far less angst. These letters from God are my way of working out how the gospel speaks directly to me as a creative person.
