Letters From Mr. J B Fact Finder started as an e-mail that was sent out once a week to everyone on a growing e-mail list. The list of e-mail recipients kept growing, and the letters kept growing and eventually became a book that would later become a finalist at the 2020 IAN book competition.



Letters From Mr. J B Fact Finder is a lively & light-hearted book about history trivia. We talk about famous people, places, and moments in American history. We talk about people of industry such as Henry Ford and others in the auto industry. We look into the men and the different companies who brought breakfast cereal to our tables, and even Mr. Hershey and Mr. Wrigley.  We talk about moments in history such as the Pony Express, Prohibition, and the building of the Empire State Building. We also take a look at how certain holidays got started. This is not your typical book of trivia. In Letters From Mr. J B Fact Finder, each chapter is a separate topic, and each chapter is written in the form of a letter, introducing the topic of the letter, listing a few facts, and ending with discussion and thought about the subject. It is a book that is informative, and fun to read. The book provides many surprising & intriguing nuggets of information in an upbeat way.
