As being a teacher, mother I observe many parents they worried about their teenager kids and even teenagers are also confused in their this stage of life.so I decided to write a book on it after doing some research and lots of observation.so here we are going to try to understand teenagers behavior their needs and guide them accordingly.Let's try to know the complex nature of teens. Let's see how teenagers perceives, think and gains understanding of his/her world through the interaction of genetic and learned factors. Adolescence is a phase of transition from childhood to adulthood. Adolescence may be defined as the period of a person's biological, cognitive, psychological & social development from child to an adult. This phase is full of dramatic challenges, & teens requires adjustment to changes in the self, in the family and in the peer group.For both parents and teens this phase is a time of excitement and of anxiety; of happiness and of troubles; of discovery and of confusion; and of break with the past and link with the future. Adolescence may be confusing time for the teens experiencing this phase of life & for the parents who are nurturing teens. Adolescence develop a unique and Distinct from them parents . Yes, they love their parents they don't simply want to follow their footsteps. During adolescence, parents should play highly supportive role.Here we will discuss about physical as well as cognitive development, psychological development and social development of teens self-concept and self-esteem in teens, sign of negative self-concept in teens and how to deal with the challenges and issues in adolescence development that is tips for improving parent-teen relationship.Hope parents and children get benefit from this book.By Mrs. Sushma Tripathi
