The movements from which I drew this model sometimes have big names-the Civil Rights Movement, the Women's Movement, the Velvet Revolution. But at bottom, the movement I have in mind has been unfolding in ways small and large since our species first achieved consciousness. It is the ancient movement to fulfill the human possibility, a movement that's forever calling us to embody what it means to be truly human.
