This book is unique in the sense that it was written from the point of view of someone who grew up in church, did church things, got visitations from God, knew the word of God but was unwilling to surrender completely to God. It delves deep into the life of what it means to be a church girl, explores the hardship endured and exposes the flawed humanity of those we call Christians. It also points to the fact that God is holy and holiness is proof the believer has undergone complete transformation. Obedience to God is key to living a joyful life. Many people live lives absent of joy because they are unwilling to surrender to God & release the past. The only way to have true joy is to let go.
