Legacy

When Fallady Galbraith, single, independent and forty-two, accepts the legacy of an isolated house on the Welsh borders as a means of escaping from London, she soon discovers that the house conceals a number of secrets including, apparently, two household ghosts who act as cook and gardener. Her search for answers leads her into an encounter with the eighteenth century and to the love of her life, but when the final, devastating secret is revealed, she is forced to choose between love and sacrifice.
