LEAVES

Leaves use photosynthesis to convert carbon dioxide and minerals from the soil to manufacture food for the plant and for animals and people. Oxygen is another by-product. Many shapes and sizes and colors of these leaves are used by the many plants on the earth to do these and other things. Color pictures of leaves and their processes and uses are included.
