Forgiveness seems to be a major problem to cultivate. What does having a peaceful mind mean to you? How do you envision peace in your own life? Whatever it is that you're imagining right now as it pertains to peace, it should be similar to how you embrace forgiveness. None of us are perfect, but it's time to stop feeling angry, resentful, and bitter. Don't allow yourself to get locked into a mental cage because it will prevent you from moving on. The last thing you want is increased stress and a decreased level of empathy towards other people in your life. The pain is real, and the suffering is real, but the way you choose to let certain things go is completely in your hands. Each individual, and each experience is different, but at some point, we will all fall short of our standards and the standards of others. Take this time to consider the mistakes you've made in the past. Once you realize how your decisions have impacted others, you'll begin to examine yourself in a more authentic manner.
