Leadership Management (Carl Skills and Performance)

This book has explained standards of foundation and skills including leadership management to evaluate the performance and modern required skills and identified some factors that may have influenced the performance given the core competencies required in the digital era and to consider the role of leadership management. This book will present the definition of leadership management and will highlight several relevant dimensions including Foundational Knowledge, Interpersonal skills, Information Technology Skills, and their relationships to performance. There are several theories outlining leadership related to performance, including the theory of "Great Man", Trait Theory, Contingency Theories, Situational Theory, Behavioral Theory, Participative Theory, Transactional/Management Theory, Relationship Transformational Theory, and Skills Theory. These theories are widely accepted and used by previous research in this area. It is important to highlight that this book adopts the Relationship and Transformational Theory, which focuses on the role of leaders vis-a-vis the performance of group members.
