Young Noble Burden and Shelby Horton had big dreams of a life together in their small town until unimaginable tragedy changed everything. 

 

Abandoned by his no-good father and forced to grow up too soon, Noble Burden is forced to set his hopes of a music career in Nashville aside to run the family farm and watch over his autistic big brother, Eustace. Meanwhile, Shelby is questioning everything she ever knew as she and her father, local pastor James Horton, are forced to prepare to close the town's dying church's doors for good.

 

As a severe storm rolls through Sycamore, Indiana, the community and its surrounding farms are threatened, causing everyone to fear losing what they care about most . . . and reconsider where they truly belong.
