Beskrivelse
Laurel Lox and the Three Bears is a modern adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In this book, Laurel Lox decides to take a walk in the woods near her house. While walking in the woods, she discovers a beautiful clearing and the cottage belonging to the three bears. When she finds the door to the cottage open, she enters it and does three acts of kindness for the inhabitants. When she is upstairs in the cottage, she hears the bears come home, writes them a quick note, and uses an escape ladder to go through the window. Later she wakes up in the clearing and decides that she must have been dreaming about the cottage and the three bears, but then spies Baby Bear peeking out from behind a tree in the distance. She shakes her head in amusement and considers that maybe magical things can exist after all.
