It's November 2021, and I have just bought a coffee shop. I have never run my own business before and nor do I have any experience of working in hospitality.
How hard can it be to run a coffee shop? Pulling espresso shots is easy, it's the chatty customers, shady suppliers, needy staff and a tough-talking accountant that makes this an experience worth writing about. This is the story of my business journey, from start-up to exit. This book covers the stresses of small business ownership and recounts the thrills and spills of day-to-day life in a busy coffee shop.
