Sophia's discovery she isn't who she thought she was shocked her. Murder made it worse.
When the acclaimed wildlife photographer inherits her older sister's journals, she learns the truth about her 1938 birth. Renee wasn't her sister but her mother. And her father had been murdered before she was born in Mexico. Strangely, the recent 2008 murder of her neighbour, a medical engineer, seems to echo what little is known about her father's death.
