Lani: Captive Woman: A Hawaiian Queen Defies the Ways of Her Ancestors

Her name, Keopuolani, meant The Gathering of the Clouds of Heaven. Her father, King Kiwalao of Hawaii, called her Lani- Heaven. He and his queen, Lilia, believed Lani was a special gift from heaven.
