Language of literature: from speculative models to reality

There are many ways of knowing the world around us, including the world of literature, from scientific and philosophical to religious and artistic. One view of scientific knowledge of the world is that we create speculative models of the world inside our brains and then compare them with reality. The speculative models are helped by literature with its specific language. In modern genres of literature, the researcher draws inspiration and sometimes even borrows scientific ideas, as is the case, for example, in science fiction and fantasy.
