This is book 3 in the Lambs To The Slaughter - Love, Scams and True Stories of Thai Girls series. I first became aware of the dating scams when I was writing to a girl in the Philippines via a pen pal service. This was a few years before the internet in the late eighties I believe and we were basically writing letters to each other. So I'd been writing to this very nice looking girl and after a few letters, I told her I was coming to visit her in the Philippines. I already had her address but then the letters abruptly stopped. I then discovered that I was probably writing to a Nigerian scammer that had set up a false profile with some stolen pictures of nice looking girls...! The internet is now absolutely full of scammers but this first story is about a very successful girl scammer I met via an expat guy living in Thailand.
