Lake Poopalooska

Lars Paulson wants to take his son, Jimmy, to the same lakeside resort where he vacationed when he was a boy. He has fond memories of this trip with his own father, but he can't remember exactly which lake they visited-and there are ten thousand lakes in Minnesota

Lars and Jimmy find a lake that could be the one. The water is clear, the air is fresh, the wildlife abounds, and the fishing is great. But something is different-very different.

This lake is called Lake Poopalooska. The nearest town is Poopalooska Proper. And the townspeople refer to themselves as Poopalooskans. Lars knows he should have remembered this name as a ten-year-old boy, but all of this is new to him-and so is Lake Poopalooska's way of life. Will he and Jimmy create their own memorable father-son fishing trip among the Poopalooskans? The pair soon learns that this father-son vacation may turn into an absolutely preposterous adventure.
