The book entitled Laboratory Manual for Principles of Animal and Population Genetics is the culmination of the vast experience of offering the courses on Principles of Animal Genetics and Population and Quantitative Genetics to the UG, PG and Ph.D. students of Veterinary Science for more than two decades. First five chapters deal with the Principles of Animal Genetics and the next six chapters are devoted to the Population and Quantitative Genetics. For each topic, the class work exercises are explained with simple examples and solving them step by step. Large number of exercises covering various species of animals and plants including humans are provided as Home Work, at the end of each chapter, which may serve as Question Bank.
