In March 2000, Fumiko Ishioka, curator for Tokyo's Holocaust Education center, receives a suitcase with the year 1931 on it. She searches for clues, across Europe and North America, for details about its owner--a girl named Hana. This book is based on Karen Levine's Canadian radio documentary.
