Kresek is a light hearted comic book that depicts a story of the daily life of a plastic bag.

By giving the ubiquitous object a face and a personality, this book offers another perspective of the plastic bag. The plastic bag is an object of controversial reputation, with many perceiving it either as a convenient storage solution or as an environmental enemy. Regardless of people's opinions of the plastic bag, it as an object is just something that comes and goes quickly, from one's hand to the trash, from invention to prevention. 

Delivered as a wordless comic book, Kresek (the onomatopoeia of a moving plastic bag in Indonesian language) hopes to be the environmental awareness book that is delivered in a light-hearted way instead of the doomsday-fearmongering way most writing about plastic dangers tend to portray.
