This book shows a divorced Korean woman working in a strange place in a new job, who falls in love with a foreigner, only to be separated from him when he has to return to his own country England. She experienced working in a hotel, meeting strangers and struggling to survive. Being a divorced woman, she had to leave her three children in the care of her ex-husband's family. Her experience in her first marriage under the structure of the traditional Korean family, she suffered between a 'Mama's boy' husband, his mother and his sister. Still, as a mother she must endure them for the sake of her children. The English man returns to Korea, and the two loving people meet again and get married.
