After the brother of a local crime-lord is murdered, private detective Brace Heller is surprised when the crime-lord comes to him to investigate. Reluctantly, Heller accepts the challenge and finds himself digging deep into a seedy world of betrayal, violence and lust. And at the same time, he's trying to manage a rock'n'roll band that might just make it to the big time.
