King of Promise

The night Daniel learns he is dying something mysterious happens. In his dreams a well-dressed man offers to take his death and give it to someone else. When he wakes up, he is suddenly cured with no trace of the disease that was killing him. Daniel revels in his second chance until he learns of his friend Brian's cancer, the one which developed the same time Daniel's disease disappeared. Now, Daniel walks a fine balance between loyalty and guilt as he waits to see whether Brian has been given the fate which was supposed to be Daniel's.
