Beskrivelse
King Nebuchadnezzar is the ruler of Babylon, the great ancient city. His power and riches knew no bounds, and neither did his pride. One day, he boastfully declared himself mightier than any being. But he forgot about the One Being greater than all men: God The pride in King Nebuchadnezzar's heart brought about seven years of madness. King Nebuchadnezzar was reduced to rags, eating and living like the wild animals he lived with. Until one day, King Nebuchadnezzar proclaimed God the "King of Heaven" and ruler of all things. That day, God gave King Nebuchadnezzar back his mind and his place as King of Babylon.
Years later, King Nebuchadnezzar's son Belshazzar, seems to have forgotten his father's hard experience At a large feast for the nobles of Babylon, King Belshazzar arrogantly brings forth the sacred golden vessels that belong to the House of God. Consumed with pride and boasting, he uses them for feasting and pleasure of the worst kind. If he only would have remembered his father
But King Belshazzar's actions would seal his fate. The hand of God appears at the banqueting hall That very night, King Belshazzar would lose not only his throne, but his life in an ambush by Darius, king of the Medes.
