When Zaylie Layne and her search and rescue dog, Smutti, track down a kidnapper and his victim, Zaylie believes it is the same man who killed her sister twenty years ago. Now he's coming after her, and time is running out for Zaylie. She returns to her hometown on Whisper Island and is forced to face the memories that haunt her. As she delves back into the past in search of answers, she draws closer to the truth and finds that danger lurks around every corner.
