Khush Qismat

The short-story, also known as "afsaana," is one of the most important literary subgenres in Urdu literature, despite its relative youth. This book "Khush Qismat (Fortunate)" collects a selection of short stories written by Urdu fiction writer Khursheed Alam Aara. These Stories feature individuals who we are all familiar with; they reside in our neighborhood, on our street, in our home, and occasionally even 'inside us'. Even if they are works of fiction, all stories have a social or human impact.
