Kaya's House

Kaya, a young woman who was adopted at birth, along with Esther, her biological sister, have successfully started a new non profit called Kaya's House with the gracious help of several friends. Originally, they were focusing on supporting a group of teens and their families who'd been hurt by a very damaging exposé in the newspaper, but those endeavors have expanded to include many different relational and family issues. They describe their primary objective as simply 'bringing people together'.

Kaya's biological mother is recovering from a near-fatal car accident and recently went through a divorce, but her ex husband has hatched a shady plan to avoid paying a settlement. Meanwhile, they all seem to have made some potentially dangerous enemies who are plotting against the staff of Kaya's House. A security guard is hired and a retired CIA agent is brought in to help sort out the mess and stop the threats.

Kaya's House is a story about how people of all types can work together, pool their gifts and skills and achieve remarkable things, even in the face of great adversity and opposition.
